About Larman-Garro
LA# 3595 • LC# 797917
Our small company has been designing and building gardens throughout the Bay Area for twenty years, bringing expertise in design, horticulture and construction to residential gardens as well as public green spaces.
We are devoted to honoring the particular requirements and assets of each unique environment we design. We work with site-appropriate plant material, introduce native plant species whenever possible and design for maximum habitat potential.
It is our goal to integrate the natural world into urban life styles, creating gardens conducive to joyfulness and peace of mind.
Our extensive experience in masonry, construction and landscape structural systems (drainage, irrigation, soils) insures a strong foundation for each garden we develop.
Additionally we have years of active involvement in community planning for the design and stewardship of public parks, medians, schools and natural areas. We have conducted participatory community design workshops and worked with agency staff, non-profit organizations and elected officials to bring about positive changes in our public commons.
