Stone Circles of the British Isles |
Ballynoe
County Down, Ireland |
The symbols gracing our web site are mappings of ancient stone circles in the British Isles.
We chose these graphics because we found ourselves drawn to the power and beauty of what must surely be some of the earliest and most enduring “landscaping” in the world.
There are many viable theories about what the circles mean, who built them, how and why, yet each circle retains a mystery all its own.
